Friary Help Gok Launch New ITV Competition
Viewers watching This Morning and Loose Women on Monday were treated to the sight and sound of Friary members playing Christmas music as stylist Gok Wan launched ITV’s ‘Win Christmas’ competition several times during the programmes. Band Secretary Lauren Straker explained: “We were approached by a tv contact who had heard Friary some years ago, to see if we could help. REMEMBRANCE: Whilst the full Band was unable to undertake the usual duty of leading Guildford’s Remembrance Sunday parade this year, Friary players were individually involved in a number of ceremonies around the area.
