Friary take new direction to Blackpool

After our National Finals qualification success at the Area Contest, MD, Chris King will be taking a well-earned break from the band. As part of our preparation for major contests, we regularly seek input from guest conductors and therefore are pleased to have engaged with Nigel Taken, who will come in as guest MD for our performance at the Grand Shield. Chris will return for the Whit Friday contests and lead the development of the band’s programme for Brass in Concert.
