The Band are delighted to welcome Gemma Fuller, who joins the band on cornet.
Gemma started playing the trumpet aged 8 playing for the Hampshire County Youth Band where she progressed to principal cornet, holding this position for her last two years of membership.
Gemma studied trumpet at the Royal College of Music (RCM) where she gained her BMus (Hons). In 2002, shortly after commencing her studies at the RCM, Gemma became a founder member of Zone One Brass, with whom she remained a member for six years.
Deciding to have a bit of a break from banding, in 2011, Gemma decided to join the circus! After returning from touring with Giffords Circus for two years as Principal Trumpet, Gemma played for Woodfalls and Redbridge.
Gemma previously played with Friary at the 2015 Butlins contest, and joins in time to complete the cornet line-up for the Area contest in Stevenage.
