We are delighted to have been invited back to perform at the annual Chobham Festival. Our concert, TOP BRASS, next Wednesday (28th September) is something of a dress rehearsal for our performance at the National Finals on 8th October.
Along with various popular tunes, the programme will also feature Journey of the Lone Wolf, the test piece that we’ll be performing at the Royal Albert Hall for the National Finals. Commissioned by Nicholas Childs for Black Dyke Band in 2014, the work depicts the story of Hungarian composer Béla Bartók.
